The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
